This video was produced completely in Japanese animation by Joe and a team of animators, based in Japan. Nakazawa was the lead animator, his previous works include the animated scene in the "Kill Bill" movie.

Patrick Tatopoulos designed the backdrop for the video. He designed most of the cityscape, and the main building.

The band had to record themselves performing a live rendition of the song so that the animators could get a good idea of the kind of moves they needed to produce in the final video.

The video took just over 4 months to complete, 2 months longer than originally planned.
