What is the purpose of this FAQ?
To let people know more about the site, how it runs, and to answer all
the frequently asked questions that I get asked.
How can I help out?
Currently there are no spots available on the staff, but you are always
welcome to send in any pics, scans, or news you may have. Also keep
an eye out on the competition page for your chance to help out, and
win some great prizes at the same time!
I found a dead link, how can I tell you about it?
Please contact me through one of the methods on the contact
page, tell me which section/page and link it is that needs correcting.
What is your rare audio about?
The audio page is a selection of tracks taken from my personal collection
of over 1000 Linkin Park mp3's. Every week I host some of these mp3's
on my website for people to download, also, you can select tracks for
downloading by visiting the relevant thread in our forums.
Can I have some files if I message you?
Quite simply, no. Aswell as putting up rare audio on an almost daily
basis, I have rotating audio on the website aswell. I don't appreciate
people sending me email's on a daily basis asking for this or any other
media in my collection, and any emails I recieve in regards to media
will be ignored and deleted.
Why do you only have Windows Media video downloads?
I do this to save on both bandwidth and download times. Unfortunately,
I am not able to host MPEG's because the bandwidth limitations, and
their file sizes. The "Official Video's" are hosted as high
quality WMV also. These video's are all direct DVD Rips which helps
to conserve the high quality and crispness of the picture. Though these
video's are small in filesize, they are in most cases higher quality
than most of the MPEG files you will find.
How many images do you have on the website?
Approximately 2000-3000. Though I haven't counted for a long while.
What's with the lack of graphics?
My website is not on the internet to look pretty. The graphics on the
website are the last thing I consider when building it, content being
the first, design being second. Having tons of graphics isnt going to
make the website any different, and the looks are not what are important,
the content is the most important, and that is where we excel above
the rest.
Can I direct-link images for use in my messageboard signatures?
If the image is small in filezsize (Eg. An AIM/MSN icon) then I have
no objections to you direct-linking. Direct-linking to large images
is not permitted at any cost, it uses up too much bandwidth.
