Forfeit The Game Releases Online Player - Sets Date for v6 - Introduces a Street Team; and Makes T-shirts

Forfeit The Game just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

(FTG) October 25, 2004 -- "Collision Course" is the new CD/DVD collaboration offering between the legendary hip-hop artist Jay-Z and Linkin Park. The package will consist of a series of "Mash-Up's" (Remixes of tracks by different artists into one song) produced by Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda. In celebration of the release, Forfeit The Game has produced an online resource and media player for the project.

The player consists of the latest news about the release, includes articles, reviews, interviews and promotional items as well as audio and video footage. The exclusive player can be accessed through visiting http://www.forfeitthegame.com/collisioncourse/.

DEDICATED
"Version 6.0 - Dedicated", the long awaited new website from Forfeit The Game has been given a November 1st release tag. Though the release date is not 100% final, it is more than likely that users will see changes happening around that time.

The new version will features many new items including "The Linkin Park Timeline", "Linkin Park Events Calender", revised "Tour Archive", "Gallery" section and "The Website" section, as well as an upgraded news/index page, with all new "Picture of The Day", "Today in Linkin Park History" and "Quote of The Day" features.

T-SHIRTS?
It's been talked about previously, but this time it may be for real. Users of the website may be in line for seeing an exclusive range of Linkin Park T-shirts to be hitting the website this Christmas. Though it cannot be confirmed or denied.

COMPETITON
The next Forfeit The Game competition is also set to launch with version 6.0, it will be a graphical design/art contest, in which the winner may see their design branded on the Christmas t-shirts, stickers and other promotional products.

STREET TEAM
Every Linkin Park fan's dream, to be included in the official promotional Street Team. Whilst the team is limited to 2000 members, the chances of gaining access are considerably low. It's just that reason that Forfeit The Game are to open up their very own team of fans. The current cut of fans will be 250 members for the first promotion shift, but after that, access will be made available for even more members.

Currently, the team will be mainly online promotion only, as offline products are harder to produce and send out every time a promoting session comes around. That doesn't mean, however, that there will be no offline products at all. Users will also be in with a chance of entering competitions to win exclusive goods, promotional items, t-shirts, CD's and more!

Sign-ups for the Forfeit The Game Street Team are expected to start around November 12th.
