Hailed as the American Chemical Brothers, The Crystal Method formed in 1993, after a string of demo's and tracks recorded in their hometown of Las Vegas in the years before. After forming, they reverted to the Californian Underground scene in Los Angeles. Quickly making a name for themselves with their unique mix of hip-hop, rock, soul, and pop, the pairing continued producing quality tracks inspired by their experiences.

In 1994 The Crystal Method were offered a deal at Steve Melrose's "City of Angels" imprint label, and shortly after released the anthemic "Keep Hope Alive" single, which is still a top rave hit to this day. In 1996 they signed to Geffen Records affilate label "Outpost Recordings" and in 1997, released their debut LP "Vegas". The band have since released a few more album's and are set to release their latest sometime this year (2005).
