Forfeit The Game July Competition!

To celebrate the return of Linkin Park in the next few months, Forfeit The Game is again offering you the chance to win a ton of rare Linkin Park media. The new competition is split in to 3 sections, with 30 points up for grabs. Some sections will be easier than others, but in order to win the prizes, you need to get as close to 30 points as you possibly can. The competition is not restricted to certain countries, so go ahead and have a go! The deadline for the competition entries is July 31st 2006, so take your time and make sure you get the maximum marks!

The first part of the competition is the Linkin Park General Knowlege quiz, featuring 10 questions relating to the history of Linkin Park; beware though, none of these questions are easy (all of the answers can be found somewhere in this site however!). Questions below!

9. What does Brad's T-Shirt read in the Faint promotional music video?
10. What does Mike have written on his T-Shirt in the Linkin Park Underground Year 2 trailer video?

The second part of the competition is the Hybrid Theory EP Hunt. We have split the cover of the Hybrid Theory EP in to nine pieces, and embedded a number on top of the graphics. Once you have found all nine pieces of the HTEP, put them all together to reveal the full cover and a secret code. More info below!

There are 8 pieces of the HTEP hidden through this website, and 1 is hidden in a random place across the internet. To find the extra one you will need to find the clue, which is hidden on one of the pages of this website, and is written in blue text. LOOK VERY CLOSELY, SOME ARE HIDDEN VERY WELL! Knowing what the EP looks like will help a lot, look for distinctive features on images when searching (also look out for gray numbers!). When you find each of the 9 pieces of the puzzle, keep a note of the website address which you found it on, as each one will earn you a point! To decript the code, place all nine pieces of the HTEP together using an image edting program such as Paint or Photoshop. Once they are all together you should have a completed HTEP cover with a series of numbers on it. Read the numbers from left to right, top to bottom, and you should have a long code. Keep this code, as it will earn you your final point!

The third part of the competition is the Music Video Competition. We will show you a series of 10 obscure pictures, which are taken from various videos that Linkin Park have produced. All you have to do is tell us which of their videos they are from! More info below!

The images you will see are not going to be easy, so you may need to watch the promotional videos a few times before you find them. All 10 of the pictures are very obscure, and you may not have ever noticed them in the videos before. The images are not just from the commercially released videos either, they will also be from officially made videos that were released through other mediums, but are readily available on the internet! Live videos, backstage footage, interviews etc have not been used, only promo videos made by the band in a studio.
