[16:24] <Chester-> it was actually very easy
[16:24] <Chester-> process for me
[16:24] <Chester-> you'd have to ask mike that question because he did most of the work

[16:26] <Chester-> my inspirations? uh i don't know- i get them from a lot of different things, not just like music and stuff
[16:26] <Chester-> but other things like watching a car accident
[16:26] <Chester-> happen right in front of my face
[16:26] <Chester-> and that makes me think about things
[16:26] <Chester-> but mostly the love of performing and playing music
[16:26] <Chester-> makes me want to write

[16:27] <Chester-> no i don't think it's bad to cuss on an album
[16:27] <Chester-> little kids cuss as much as i do anyways
[16:27] <Chester-> i don't care what people say or do
[16:27] <Chester-> the reason we don't cuss on the record
[16:27] <Chester-> is it's better for the songs lyrically is not to cuss
[16:27] <Chester-> it forces you to explain
[16:27] <Spiffster> chester, how did your attitude change about the studio recording during the recording sessions for Reanimation? [ie: more professional, more laid back]
[16:27] <Chester-> what you are expressing more fluently so people can explain your point of view
[16:28] <Chester-> if you cuss a lot, generally the emotion people pick up on is an anger thing
[16:28] <Chester-> we aren't necessarily angry all the time
[16:29] <Chester-> Doing reanimation wasn't like doing a linkin park album- like writing a new album and recording
[16:29] <Chester-> most of the musical changes were done by the individual producers of each track
[16:29] <Chester-> my only involvement was saying yes i like what the person had done, or no
[16:29] <Chester-> i pretty much stood back except on my parts, much more like a vacation then recording an album
[16:29] <SnowCvrdD> Hey Chester. Is there any city that you havent already toured in that you would like to? And maybe a reason or 2.
[16:29] <Chester-> it was nice
[16:3 <Chester-> i can't really think of any cities i'd like to go to, but rather than hitting the major cities in each state, i'd like to go to more interesting or rural places to see something differet- eventually south east asia
[16:3 <Chester-> we've played so many cities in US, i feel like i've seen all of them and like them all
[16:3 <penumbra> does doing a remix album like reanimation inspire you to write newer stuff, or would you rather recreate the old? btw, thanks for tossing me water in wichita last. =) I was dead thirsty. *wink*
[16:32] <Chester-> you're welcome for the water and it does both- doing a remix album inspires you to create new stuff, but it also makes it fun working with old stuff and makes the old stuff fun again. in a way it's helped us write stuff for the new record we are working on right now, it's made it fun to hear HT in different new ways

[16:32] <MSBiggest> Reanimation was due out earlier, right? You guys said y'all took longer because you all wanted to perfect it. Do you personaly feel that the album is the best it could be now that it is ready for release??
[16:34] <Chester-> Yes we are extremely comfortable with where the songs are at on the reanimation record. if we weren't comfortable with the way each song came out, we wouln't have released it, or we would have had to take songs out of the record. Fortunately, we were able to get really good songs off the album HT plus some more. We put some really early deadlines on Reanimation, so people would work hard to make it happen fast, but it's

[16:44] <Chester-> but the reason why we've been so successfull is because we have such a dedicated fan base
[16:44] <Chester-> ever since the beginning the people who have been into the band have gone over and beyond
[16:44] <Chester-> we owe all of our success to people like you and everyone else in the LP Underground and street team and fans

I just wanna say, I think you have one of the most amazing voices I've ever heard along with Aaron lewis and when I heard that he was doing the Crawling remix i was really excited about it. [16:55] <Chester-> we've created something different then what already existed
[16:55] <Chester-> the vocals didn't change as far as my performance
[16:55] <Chester-> but it was really cool because i agree with you that aaron has one of the best voices

[16:56] <Chester-> they blend really well and he does some really cool harmonies
