[13:47] I was only involved in writing and recording my vocal portions of it
[13:48] that only took about an hour and a half to record it
[13:48] it only took me about 10 minutes to write it at my house

[14:05] Obviously I don't really know 100% for sure why LP wrote the song about in the first place, but it's easy enough to translate how I took what the lyrics meant to me and came up with something creative on my end. And I didn't really have a choice of songs, they just offered it to me and I was honored to be on the album

[14:06] Most important part in creating a song is the vibe/feelings you get when you hear it. Usually the music and lyrics are written seperately and thrown together and you know when it works and you know when it doesn't

[14:14] Well our manager used to be in Linkin Park years and years ago
[14:14] So we befriended the LP guys while we were working on our debut record GIFT
[14:15] and the best part of working with LP was having the chance to add something creative to an already creative idea
