Aceyalone started his rapping career back in the early '90s with hip-hop legends Freestyle Fellowship and has since become widely renound as an innovator of the hip-hop culture. Freestyle Fellowship, who also featured Mikah 9, Self Jupiter and P.E.A.C.E., made their name in the hip-hop culture straight away with their blend of minimalist bass-heavy tracks and progressive socially astute lyrics, something which is innovative even to this day.

In the mid-'90s, the band parted ways and Aceyalone continued to produce albums, collaborating with some of the biggest names in underground and mainstream music - including Abstract Rude and Linkin Park. Over that time he set up his own record label - "Project Blowed Records", which now holds host to over 13 artists from the hip-hop and rap cultures, including Abstract Rude, Phoenix Orion and former band-member Mikah 5. Aceyalone has continued to produce both other artists and his own solo albums and recently came out of the studio to promote his labels latest collective offering.
