The Origins of Forfeit the Game: A Linkin Park Fansite

The origins of Forfeit The Game date back to around 2000, with my original, and first website "cwww.moonfruit.com", this site was not solely dedicated to Linkin Park, but featured them, along with around 100 other bands. After much deliberation and a lack of time and resources, the site became defunct around the beginning of 2001. In September of 2001 the site was re-launched (as I started back at college), though again, it didn't stay open for too long, and at the beginning of 2002 it again went defunct, permanently.

As my interest in Linkin Park (and a few other bands) grew, I decided around the summer of 2002 to start work on another site "ultimatemusic.moonfruit.com" (or something along those lines - I didn't choose the name). This was dedicated to about 5 bands, along with some local acts that needed promoting.

This site became defunct at the beginning of 2002, when I finished my college course. Finally, in August of 2003, I stopped being lazy, decided to open Forfeit the Game, and it's been running strong ever since!

Forfeit The Game aims to offer Linkin Park fans an alternative source of regularly updated news, information, media and content. I aim to offer uniwue and interesting content that is not available anywhere alse.

What Forfeit the Game has to offer

Forfeit the Game, is, and always has been strictly dedicated to giving the fans more of what they want, and less of what I want. I aim to offer you what other fansites can not. I offer you a wide range of new and exclusive media on a regular basis, from my personal collection of over 1000 Linkin Park mp3's - something that nearly all other webmasters can not.

I host thousands of pictures, ranging from album art, logos and promo shoots, to magazine scans, merchandise and a wide array of screenshots. The website is updated regularly with news, new pictures, new screenshots, or even just a small tweak here and there - I work around the clock to be sure to bring you the most up-to-date, and best news and info out there!
